Best product of cheap food for the food drive?
I'm participating in a power supply of class, and have already donated over 100 items. I need a good way to tip the scales in my favor for cheap, though, as this is a class project. I need a very cheap food that is labeled for sale individual (UPC Code) and is not Kool Aid, Ramen noodles and bottled water. The ideas are greatly appreciated!
Tipping the scales in your favor? Both to help the needy. The key is to give what they can not, how much to spend. If you're not going to eat that can be filled grape leaves, donate, provided you are well. Same with any other thing you have someone can eat. However, canned vegetables store brand is too expensive and not as good as the expensive name brands. Do not get canned meat unless something like Vienna sausages (because they can break into individual portions for lunches more). Peanut butter is good, but dried beans, not always a good idea (although canned beans may be good). Everything depends on food aid unit, a kitchen or food bank.
