Why does my monitor lose signal with the tower?
every time I change my PC after it has been out all night or even during the day, after a certain amount of time, anywhere from 5-15 minutes my monitor goes black and I get a message saying no signal input. The power button on the monitor is still in power is to reach it, simply I have no image on the screen. I am forced to shut down the PC anywhere up to six times before the unit will operate correctly. Any suggestions
It seems that Windows is configured to turn off the monitor after a series period of time, and have difficulty restarting. Not sure what version of Windows that is, but in general, the best way to stop it is to leave windows take off, go to the screen saver settings, and then locate your power options settings where it says turn off the screen after ____ minutes, change that number to 0.
