How to install a 6 "lift kit on a two-door, short bed, 2000, 4x4, GMC, Sierra, SLE, V8, 4.8L?"?
I trying to find a video on how to install a lift kit for this type of vehicle. I'm looking for Fab-tech or Sky Jacker. I will not go to a dealer I am willing to learn this on my own. I have another vehicle so I'm not worried about being caught in any place or time it takes to do this because I have time. If anyone can help please to give me instructions on how, or video (which I prefer) on how to install the lift. I put 35 "inch tire on my truck, which is the maximum tire size I am going to install on this particular vehicle. I'm not worried about the tools, because I have everything I need. THX
All kits come with step by step instructions. Follow. You will not find a video that goes through the installation complete, step by step, you need a good technician 4-6 hours or more depending on brand lift. Also, I installed damn near all the brands out there, and ease of installation, am partial to the Rough Country lift. I have seen no problem with them, seem to hold, and any other IFS lift. They are also less expensive.
