Well from now highly unlikely. Now it looks like a land farther west you in LA. Here more information on the subject have answered by another question. Depends What predictive models that view. From now on most models show Gustav makes landfall somewhere west of New Orleans, or perhaps a land Occidental. Only one of the models are showing a land east of there. If this is the case, then make a Gustav made landfall near the Mississippi / Alabama border land. There is still considerable uncertainty in the track of Gustav. The margin of error is Central Texas to Florida, the AL border. Also this system is expected to be strong Category 3 with winds of 100 knots (approximately 110 mph).
